well, figured I start my posting with my new guitars. I've been buying and selling ebmm evh's and peavey wolfs for a few years now and decided to start my own collection and start keeping my guitars instead of flipping them. I've been playing guitar for 13 years now and have gone through more guitars and gear than I can remember. Out of all of them the evh's and wolf gangs have been my favorite. They just fit my stubby little fingers perfectly lol.
Anyways, I figured I would set out for the 2 hardest to find wolfies out there. A first year quilt(with actual quilting, if you know wolfs you know what I mean) and a seafoam green( the hardest to find color out there, rumored to be 100 or less made)
Well, here they are. The seafoam came about 2 weeks ago and is in collector condition. I traded a pretty significant piece to get it but was well worth it. The Red first year quilt just fell in my lap a few days ago. I have ocd and search gc's used website every morning bc sometimes you can get some amazing deals bc they don't always know what they have. This was one of those deals. The only thing I will say about what I paid for this is this, GC goes by market value and pays about 50-60% of what they will list a piece for. When they search ebay for Peavey Wolfgang quilt can anyone guess what it brought up? Yup, korean exp quilt tops lol. I couldn't believe what I paid for this considering they typically go for $2-3k in this condition. Plus it has a superb quilt(for being a Peavey of course)
Let me know what you think
