Thank you brother. Having the most fun I've ever had jammin with these guys.

victim5150,
I'm going to try and catch your show on 4/18/15 @ Bonds 007 here in San Antonio.
What time do y'all go on that night?

Bro, Ive been a fan of your for awhile.

I just wanted to say, I think you guys could get a permanent gig in Vega$ without a problem. Maybe you dont wanna move there, but I bet you could make quite a bit of ca$h if you did it.

Cool! We're headlining so my guess is not till around midnight. There's two other bands before us. An original metal group and then a Maiden tribute. It's during "Fiesta" in San Antonio which is like a big party month apparently so should be a packed house.

Thanks for the kind words brother. My singer should be in Vegas doing this for sure. Hope he doesn't leave us though. LOL! I own my own business here in Houston so I'm not going in anywhere. It's supports my GAS.  I'm a mild mannered business owner Mon-Fri and a wanna be guitar hero on the weekends.

Awesome! I was hoping you all were the headliners.

Good thing the show wasnt a week later on the 25th.
There is a night parade (fiesta flambeau parade) that goes thru downtown on the evening of the 25th so there would of been about 200,000+, maybe 300,000+ people all around 007's.....
parking and getting in and out of downtown would been a biatch.

Wow! I'm worried about parking as it is now. That would be insane. We'll be back up there May 30th at Fiztgerald's opening for a KILLER Queensryche tribute band our keyboardist is in called Mindcrime. That should be a great show as well.

Not to be a poop, but Vegas just does't pay what it should. Additionally, the tribute bands here, even good ones are making less than $1k a night. Surprisingly, there are not a ton of rock clubs out here. Some of the casinos bring in Hard Rock tribute bands but no sort of "residency" unless you were doing a wide range of music.

Bands like Yellow Brick Road do pretty well, I know a lot of guys killing themselves in Fremont St. for about $150 per guy per night. That's 3 hours of work.

Also, I should have started with "Nice fucking playing and tone!" That might be some of the first 5153 tone I have heard that I really liked.

^ Agreed, I'm normally kind of on the fence about the 5153 but it sounds great in your clips, OP!

Looks like it was a killer show!! You guys have it down cold, always dig the clips you post.
I will have to check out the Fx pico pre for my blue channel :)

Thank you man. Here is their website with a demo by Pete Thorn.

What I have is the baby version of the EP Pre. It's like half the size. It's not listed on the website. The owner emailed about it during my discussions with him about the EP Pre. Space is tight on my pedalboard and the Pico Pre is the perfect size. Fits in the palm of your hand.

Fantastic clips man!! You guys nail it. Your lead work on the Rhoads stuff is killer.
Just how 'modern' Ozzy do you guys play? I dont care for his latest records too much.

Thanks man! I really don't care for The newer stuff either. But I do like Gus G and I did like the song let me hear you scream. The most recent one we do is Get's Me Through from the Down to Earth album but we rarely ever do it. We just have it in the wheel house in case we need it. Only other recent ones are Just Want You and Perry Mason from the Ozzmosis album. We rarely ever play those either. Being in a tribute band you gotta play the hits and then the ones the diehards love. You have to play what the crowd wants to hear and not what you want to hear. Luckily I like just about all of it. Hell I still love to the play crazy train with these guys.  as for deep cut but fan favorite type songs we do Diary of a Madman, Believer and You Can't Kill Rock 'n Roll from the Randy era. From the Jake era we do Journey to the Center of Eternity, rock and roll rebel, the ultimate sin and killer of giants. The deep cuts for the Zakk era we do are fire in the sky and bloodbath in paradise from the no rest for the wicked album. Those are all popular songs from each era but weren't exactly radio hits. More like fan favorites. We sprinkle those in with the standards like I don't know, crazy train, Mr. Crowley, suicide solution, bark at the moon, no more tears, Mama I'm coming home, paranoid, war pigs, Iron Man etc.

Would like to check out one of your shows. You guys ever make it up to Michigan?

Kick-fucking-ass Dude!!!!
The whole band just slams.

And thanks for fueling my 5150III gas!!!

Thanks man. Ya, my drummer has been asking about maybe doing casino's but not worth it for that kind of pay. We can get that here and sleep in our own bed at the end of the night.

Thanks guys. I love the blue channel with some volume in a live mix. It just cuts. Give it a little mid boost during the leads and do your thing.

Doubtful man. We each have a Monday through Friday gig. I own a small business myself. We just do this for fun on the weekends. Hopefully my share pays for the gas to get there and home and my wife and I's bar tab. ;) We are just now starting to head up to San Antonio and Dallas. The House of Blues emailed me and want us back in possibly August. Waiting to confirm but they mentioned getting us up to the one in Dallas also. Would love to get on the House of Blues Gulf Coast circuit. Say goodbye to the little clubs and play the Houston, Dallas and New Orleans venues every few months. One can dream. ;)
