That burst came out great!

Thanks again for the body and all the advice Mike, your work got great reviews from the paint guy and TGP approved luthier that set the neck and did the setup

That guitar turned out great Scott. Now it just needs some playing time logged on that bad boy. :)

Still fishing season

Thanks for the help George

I already took down my Curt shrine and have moved on.

As long as my old band promo pic is still on your wife's night stand, I am fine. :D

I guess now you will never take me fishing huh? You need to come out here in the summer and take the family to Disneyland and we can do an ocean fishing 1 day boat and you can catch some fish that make you feel like you just went three rounds and then you get them to the boat and they are like 8-10 lbs. I hope you're in shape if you tie into anything big like a yellowtail or tuna. Be ready for an ass-kicking if you do.

How does that full brass bridge effect the tone? Does it take the bite offthe top end and meelow things out a bit? Maybe you don't have to roll the tone back so far when playing the bridge pickup?

I don't remember seeing full brass tele bridges. Saddles, yes, but I've never seen the baseplate too.

I may have another tele in the works so this may be an idea.

I got the bridge from this guy, nice work.

The guitar does sound different from a tele with the more common ashtray bridge, more full sounding but you still have that twang. I love it.

My wife has been hinting that she wants to do California and would not mind doing a 10-14 day trip to see everything from the north coast to San Diego, loved the Mission Bay area when I was a squid. I want to drive Muholland Drive with a rented 911.

Just went offshore tuna fishing last weekend, landed two 50 pound yellowfin on light tackle and thank god sold one to the japanese because I was down about $300 in fuel   Around the coast the bullies of Long Island Sound are Blue Fish that can get in the 15-20 pound range and fight like jacks, big power and have razor sharp teeth. 100s a year are in the ER for finger work due to not being careful.

Maybe someday Curt.

That's sure a nice tele and to think Chubtone helped you out with it. Must have took some pulling. Great build!

I never understood your fascination with that guitar Scott but regardless, it really did come out incredible!!! Congrats and happy playing!!

Kage

Always been a huge fan of Andy's playing and tones

Nice guitar! I never owned a Tele. That guitar begs to be plugged into an MXR Dyna Comp and play Message In A Bottle!
