Probably punches you in the chest in the room!

I had both, nearly 20 years ago & stupidly sold them to go on some ridiculous tone shaping quest.

If I’d only known, it really doesn’t get better than a 5150 & recto.

My old tverb and zakk halfstack was brutal. Punched you in the chest and then kicked you in the nuts. It was overkill in my old housing development. Plus I ran the Marshall like 30ms behind the mesa and it just sounded like a wall….

I also have the Windsor separate that I use as a power amp for my custom pre that Wayne made me. When I run all three together it’s something to behold… except for the ground noise….

Man I just didn’t like it. I traded mine to a forum bro for a wah…
It's about having the right tool for the right job. That pedal is for stereo rigs to give separation. If you never ran it in stereo, you may have never really heard it.
I couldn't deal with the massive volume drop while using the Mimiq pedal.
I've never had this issue. Something might have been wrong with yours.

My stereo rig has plenty of separation… I usually try to use some delay also between the amps…

Same thing, really.

My guitarist in Something Involving A Monkey used a Triple Rec, so I got good at blending amps with the Rectifier. I like brighter, mid-focused amps with them, so a 5150 circuit is a good choice. I never tried that combo myself. I did a Rivera Knucklehead and Mesa Stiletto on our first two albums (respectively), and he did the Bogner Uberschall Helix patch with the Rectifier patch when he went digital for live and studio.
