I don't even own a Phaser? I used a semi hollow body and single coil p/ups on that recording with a touch of delay. We all know how good you can play and you've done some great recordings. Just trying to be constructive here, and broaden you tonal vocabulary.
Well to me the recording sounded like there was a phaser on the guitar, must be the mp3 quality of the backing track, maybe? Maybe I'm listening to a low res version that is the default on your clips mainpage?
(EDIT) I did go back and listen to your clip again and what I'm hearing is the MP3 conversion, there is a phasy sound in the top end, probably more from the backing track than your guitar

It is of course far more apparent in the lo-fi version of the default on your soundclick home page.
Like I said I get where you are coming from. There are no hard feelings.
I totally get why you don't like my "cheesy" vibrato
Our taste in vibrato are exact opposites. Like I said my vibrato in this song is the same as every tune I do, it is the way I play.
I would probably reconsider your choice of the word "cheesy" when offering a "constructive" critique about someone's performance. You had to of noticed that that is my "thing" when listening to other clips? Too much delay, rev and gain is a constructive statement

.
Please notice the smilies.
I get it, no problems.
I can relate to your thoughts. Please understand that like you, I was doing my own take on the song and both our versions are TOTALLY different from the original Eagle's track.
Like you, the vibrato we used are our own and totally different from the original song.
My bending and vibrato are something I actually like about my playing and trust me there are a lot of things I don't like about my playing. Having said that, I don't plan on changing my "cheesy" vibrato lol
I have no problem with anything except your choice of wording

and I really do appreciate your critique
Mark
Again, I reiterate, I totally get that we have different tastes in vibrato
