I built this in 2009. Bill Crook (of Brad Paisley's paisley Teles fame) did the nitro finish. I used the Callaham Vintage S bridge and the string spacing was too wide. I just lived with it but finally caved and bought the Callaham V/N bridge with slightly less string spacing. The saddle height screws are usually not the right height so I threaded them into a #4 keps nut and then tightened a second keps nut to hold it and used a dremel to cut them to size. I also glued a crack in the pickguard, cleaned up the wiring and put in a fancy-schmancy PIO tone cap that was collecting dust.

~6.5 pounds
Swamp Ash body
Quartersawn Maple neck
Locking Vintage style tuners
Fender CS 54 bridge
Fender 57/62 middle
Fender CS 69 neck
Bottom tone is for bridge pickup switch position, all other switch positions use middle tone
Megaswitch wired such that middle (#3) position is neck/bridge in parallel (quasi-Tele middle position)
This is why I have the 57/62 in middle position. It's too glassy on it's own but works for the #2 and #4 positions for more twang. I always have to lower the middle pickup too much for the normal #3 switch position to be that useable anyway.

All my other guitars have humbuckers but I like to have at least one classic Strat (and I want a Tele). This thing is sofa king comfortable. It's like NGD all over again.
