So Reza let me check out his Leopard.

KSR Gemini and Guerilla MSR-6 with Duncan Black Winters. Have the Zuul/Roach up front. I think this is a pretty kick ass pedal for sure. I'll definitely grab one for keeps. I find I prefer clean boost as of late.

Nice job. The pedal sounds great ??
Thanks! Yeah I really dug the pedal. Tried to go for slightly heavier tones and a more modern amp as most I have seen for demos on it are not that...

So what would chose between the Wizard and the Buxom Boost? I ask cause I really don't need any more boost but the grass is always greener lol

Hmmmm... tough call man! The Buxom is fantastic. Probably that from a feature standpoint. Having the full EQ to dial in makes it a no-brainer. I think everyone should own a Buxom and Ghoul Screamer.

The Wizard is fucking aces though. It will definitely thrash your tits off!

I haven’t liked any Friedman pedals yet
Have you tried the Buxom?

Man I think you'd REALLY like the Deadweald pedal I posted the vid for. The Clean Boost on there is sick.

Agreed. I actually liked the Buxom Boost and Golden Pearl a lot until I came across other stuff in my journey that’s just way better (like my Thorpy Heavy Water and Furman PQ3). The BE-OD I wasn’t impressed with and didn’t like the Motor City Drive at all, but from my experience of going through almost 130 overdrive/boost pedals over the years, most aren’t that great imo

Very curious though to try the Wizard Leopard and KSR Eros

The Leopard is pretty killer. I want to try the Eros as well. Seems like it’s got a ton of options. I’ve yet to be disappointed in anything I’ve tried from KSR.

Nice video!

Man I thought I was set with boosts then some of my favorite amp builder start putting them out... $600 later I have a Leopard and an Eros on order. The Eros looks awesome. I’m surprised he hasn’t shipped you the demo pedal to do a video. The Eros/Gemini would be a killer combination.

Totally get it. I think pedals are definitely a personal thing.

Dude thanks! Glad you dig the vid. This pedal really is a lot of fun to play and sounds great with all my amps.

I too am a bit surprised on the Eros prototypes to be honest. Hell I don’t ask these guys for free shit and I certainly have gotten KSR some of the best audio coverage from NAMM of their new stuff. Was surprised by some of the cars he sent them out to first but it’s all good. I love Kyle’s work and I’m sure the pedal will do just fine. I’m sure I’ll end up buying one.

Sounds pretty good to me! Surprised that I liked the sound with the gain up around 11:00. Usually I stick with the volume up and gain down rule with boosts. Might have to try running the gain up a bit and backing off the volume on some of mine tonight.

Yeah this for me is not like setting that Classic TS setup. The Fortin Hex is like that as well. The more I listen back to this, the more I dig it. I had to do a bunch of vids fairly quickly as I had surgery on Wednesday and needed them done. Now I want to risk it and go play even though it’s probably kill me! Lol.

That's a great demo - I dig this! Really nice tones coming out of that thing.

Ha! Are they coming to you next?

Yeah these are great for sure. Can’t wait to see what the Gate is like when that hits

Sounds great and I love the thru switching. That KSR took a huge amount of boost without tonally falling apart. Is the amount boost more centered on the 'useable/sweet spot' instead of having a ton of unusable boost? For example my old RC Boost would have way too much boost with both gain/volume dimed (or even close).

I would definitely say that it's usable all the way on both the Gain and Output. Also the Bright knob does not at all get unpleasant. Really a very cool pedal. You know it's funny, I don't love the Gemini without a boost, but even with just the littlest bit, and it turns into my favorite amp.
