N4 Davies Washburn anyone know about these? mailman?

check this out. it looks like the relic model they released. he insists it is a 92 Davies, supposedly a superior version of the Nuno N4. anyhow, if you follow the link to his pics, look at the serial number. first time I looked at it, I saw an 02 as the first two numbers, but he told me to look closer. it still looks like a 0, but if you look close it looks like someone tried to carve the 0 into a 9?? There are a few red flags including wrong trem, the stephens cutaway is supposed to angle up towards the body, and the input jack is different, but wont show it. he says the guy who owns funky munky sold it to him, and that a facebook group verified it is real. I don't think it is a Davies N4.

I’d steer clear either way. Crack by the locking nut bolts I think, and it looks like the trem doesn’t fit into the recess cavity (could be the angle of the pic, but the treble side corner doesn’t seem to fit?). For $1200, that’s too much to risk on a basket case even if it is a Davies

I think is not a Davies. I had a 2007 reissue alder, and felt like a cheap guitar. Glad i sold it fast.
