Awesome Mark thats honestly the full rig I was thinking of possibly going with .
Will have to let me know how Atomic fares . and if the V30 work better
If you are doing any clips can you do one short one of the live in room ,through Cabs of a few of the models and cleans ..

Thanks

Been GASing for that exact rig the past few days..I just need the versatility that set up provides. With all the different types of music I play and tones I want, I'd need 10 amps and cabs and 100 pedals. Axe-FX could really help me out here.

That's a cool setup dude. What speakers are you going to run it through? I'll answer it myself - V30's!,I'm gonna try a whole assortment of stuff but generally I'll stick with the things I know. -Mark

Yo Ayrton, they were available on the commerce page yesterday.

Mark, as per the question above, what are you running for speakers?

Any review as to the 50/50 would be great. Thanks and hey, ya lucky bastid!!

Lastly, what's the difference between the MFC-101 and, say, the VoodooLabs GCP..??

Any reason you'd pick the MFC over the half-price GCP...??
Mo

Couldn't tell ya, I sold off the GCP and AFX Ultra for a friend, and ordered him the AFX II and a MFC controller.

Hopefully this means Rob will be able to ship me one. :D

Ah, I see... :salute:

The real answer shoulda been something along the lines of "none of your f*ckin' business, that's why..!!"

Mo

I just got the MFC101 and only had a week with it before the Ultra went to T M. It really makes using the Axe-Fx a lot easier, Plug and Play. Also goes up to 384 channels so you can access every preset in the axe… For me it was night and day. I didnt have to program anything to get instant access to the effect on/off. also I was able to say turn the reverb on and off while in edit, through the MFC and adjust the volume in edit. You will also have a tuner switch and tap tempo along with 4 exp ports and I think 2 switch ports. The Ethernet cord will eliminate a wall wart in your setup, it powers from the Axe II. Made things so much easier.

Sorry I can't offer more as I am not a user myself.

I have a good friend who really does not do the forum thing, so I went ahead and jumped on the list when Brad first announced it.

I payed up for the AFX II and a controller, just waiting in the controller now. :D

Nice. Any noticeable difference with that set up vs. using the Axe with a VHT 2/50/2? That Atomic is a much cheap alternative.

Nice setup, Mark. Good to see it made it across the border! Looking forward to hearing your report.

Tom. I got to plug it in for a bit last night. It is so quiet at idle I didn't know it was out of standby!!! It sounds awesome and waaaay louder than I would have imagined. SO much headroom. I hope to spend a few hours today or tomorrow with it.
My first impressions is that it is a major WIN!

Seems like it

Happy NA2CD!!! Looking forward to the clips.

Any reasons other then heat for the 1U space above the Atomic?

Love to read an independend A/B test against the GT800FX.

Have fun with it and enjoy!
