So I finally go round to picking up a 5150 50w head and then ordered a 1x12 Zilla fat boy, loaded with a creamback...and I love it!!
The Blue channel is so thick and uncompressed, just sounds like a really really good hot rodded Marshall. Still dialling in the red channel, just has so much gain! Currently I've got it set at about 1.5!
The volume jump issue doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, I've got the gain up at noon and it's not to much of a volume hike.
All in all, very very happy camper!
