Just got my 6 button footswitch for my new Marshall DSL100HR. It was sitting by the desk when I got home from work. Got the Marshall over the weekend on Saturday, and other stuff has trickled in here and there over the past few weeks too. Other stuffs includes, Two Notes Torpedo CAB M+ and Torpedo Captor 16, Line 6 Pod Go Wireless, REVV G3 preamp/od/distortion pedal, Seymour Duncan JB Jr mini humbucker for my Strat, and of course the DSL100HR amp and the 6 button footswitch as before mentioned. Needless to say, I've got PLENTY to do in my free time over the coming days/weeks. Got a Peavey Invective 120 I'm looking to let go of and waiting on folks to start messaging far as that goes too. So it's gonna look a little less jumbled up whenever somebody takes that off my hands, but for now, even though it is a bit cluttered, it's pretty damn sweet and coming right along. Oh, and I can't forget the mini-JCM 800 my girl got me to keep from scratchin my gear up with all my keys, and from losing them too because I 'm terrible about that. It may just LOOK like an amp and not make any noise, but it looks sweet as a mofo tho and I dig it. One of those things I would never buy myself because I already know its over priced AF, even though I have no idea what she actually paid for it, and I don't want to because I'd probably ask her to take it back. But because it was a gift from her, I totally f'n dig it and it's staying on the wall

Thanks. My girl will get a kick out of it when I tell her the gift she got me saw some play after I posted it in my NGD on Rig-Talk. lol

The DSL is definitely one hell of an amp. Over the years I've heard just about everything you can hear from both sides, those who dig it and those who don't. But I just remember that I use the gear I use because I like it and its what gets me where I need to be. Of course, it always helps when quality is within reach based on your means as well. I bought the Invective I am trying to find a new home for a while back, as I have been a fan of the 6505s and I owned one till I bought the Invective. It was a bit beyond my means, but I made it happen. It blew me away at its versatility, and definitely proved to be much much more than just another metal amp. I bonded with it to the point where I sold my USA 6505+ and thats saying something. But, I recently moved to be closer to home, and in doing so, wound up with a smaller space for my music room/ home studio, and so I knew that I would need to scale the collection down again before long (which hasn't been done in quite a long time now) and seeing as how I have been more into the recording side of it all lately, I started thinking about what would be the best fit for me as far as ONE amp goes. Well, just like a Les Paul is ALWAYS the answer to that as far as a guitar goes, the same can be said for Marshall when it comes to amps. I always have had at least one around, and if not, I was working on obtaining it. So after thinking on it, I decided to get a DSL, and as it happened, one was available brand new and offered to me at a price that I could not refuse, so I went on and pulled the trigger and I don't regret it one bit. I realize the DSLs are not manufactured in England, but I've owned several and never had anything but great experiences with them, so for me that wasn't even taken into consideration. The 2 channels with 2 modes per channel, 2 master volumes, and the 6 button footswitch with recall capability make this amp one hell of a killer, and about as versatile an amp as I have ever played. Then you take into consideration its one of those amps (at least for me) that I don't really ever mess with EQ too much because with it set at noon or close by, I can get just about any sound I want out of it simply by switching channels and modes, and applying some dynamics to my playing along with a bit of volume and/or tone roll off (or on) on the guitar I'm using. It's just an added bonus that it takes pedals beautifully, and with a few of those, couple out front, and a few in the loop, along with a switch for the loop itself on the 6-switch, I'm absolutely GOLDEN with this amp.
