I'm not going to throw a million pics at you; we all know what these look like.

I've had this for a few days now. I'm digging it. I've gone through pretty much every iteration of modeler in the last 10 years or so, from the red bean POD to the HD500; iPad stuff, from JamUp to BIAS and Stompbox and Ampkit and beyond to the GSP1101 pictured up top that went to a friend after the Axe showed up and I fired it up; I've liked them all. I know they'll never replace my amps, but for what I use them for they get the job done.
This one is the best yet. I haven't tried the Kemper and feel no need to; other peoples' settings hold no interest for me in general as I have very specific tone needs and what I like to play with would probably make most of you cringe. Pads and swells and heavy rhythm distorted tones are my bread and butter and why I play guitar. This thing does MachineHead and Devin Townsend and GnR and Fear Factory and Pantera with equal ease for all, not to mention the cleans are beautiful and the low-midgain tones are entirely believable.
The biggest rhythm tone I've ever had from a modeler is here...I know it's clipping, but I wanted to record something before I changed it. Clip from Fluff's Riffs and Beards 2015 thingy:

I'm a fan. Like I said, it'll never replace amps for me, but I got it for a great price used here on RT from a good guy, I can off it for almost that if I decide I hate it, and there's a built-in USB to record with which means I can off my interface. No more miking, no more messing around with levels for recording as I use a global setting for all my tones, and free updates for life. Pretty stoked here.
If you're looking for an all in one recording solution for a ton of different tones, this is it, look no further.
Flame suit on. Come at me Dada.
