So after making my Marshall AVT, which was bought as the only Marshall in the area on Craigslist and my band wanted their lead guitarist to have a Marshall stack instead of my combo, somewhat work I finally ventured into great amp territory... Scoring a Peavey 5150 from fellow forum member Barzinilover1 including a flight case... And Jesus this thing is heavy!

Yay having a good amplifier!

Awesome score! One of my all time fave amps! Crunch with a boost...so much fun. :D Congrats man!

5150's are NOT easy to carry around.

My splawn quickrod seems way easier, but I am billy ray workout badass now.

Kidding.

I have that same "Police line do not cross" strap....
I found that guitar by the dumpster at my folks apartment years ago and that strap came with it... I think every guitar player needs a police tape strap somewhere!

No kidding man, I walked into the post office and told them I have a big heavy package waiting for me there... Poor girl thought I was making a dirty joke, until she had to have one of her coworkers help her lug it to the counter!

My smile quickly faded trying to get it into the basement... That is not going to be fun packing for shows...

HNAD!! If you're gonna boost it, I've found the sd-1 to sound best in front of the crunch channel.

I'm going to need a solo boost and most people recommend the Tube Screamer... Or, the Maxon OD808 more like it...
