Holy smokes!!! This amp is a gain monster!

I own a Mark 2C++ & a Mark IV.

I've owned 3 Mark III's, another Mark 2B 100/60, a JP2C, a Mark 2C+ SRG, a Studio pre-amp with a Simul-class 295, a DC-5, a Studio 22+.

I bought this guy from the original owner!!!!!! He had it on CL for a grand and someone offered him 8 and he took it, until I said I'd be over with 10 large. Done deal, sorry Mr. 20% off because it's CL! Original, original, everything!

.22+ combo still is one of my favorite tones ever, through my 4x12. How much was this? I don't even want to know probably.

$1000 is a great deal for that. lets see her from the rear :yes:

That is a treasure, glad you got it. Badass! Cheers.

Nice! Congrats. I have its cousin, a 2C+ Coli 1x15 combo that is simply the best amp I've ever played period. I've had a few 2B Coliseums and they are great..an early serial that was loose in the low end but had fantastic classic rock tone, and a later one that was almost as tight as a 2C or III. Love those huge power sections!

Forgot to add, make sure you try and slave your C++ to the Coli and stand back....I had an HRG C++/2B Coli and it was the best alternative to an actual C+ Coli...until I got this one.

Gorgeous amp,and with all that paperwork too! A real find.

Jesus christ man that is a score. Very nice, congrats.

I can’t imagine how the guy that talked him down to $800.00 feels like knowing that if he had just gone there he would’ve been able to buy it first and not have somebody give the guy 200 more and wake up today with $200 extra in your pocket but no amp. Money talks!

Holy shit that is beautiful. All these Coliseums are coming out of the woodwork. I guess I'll have to post mine...soon!

Hell yeah John, nice score!!!

The one I just got was shooting sparks out of a couple caps, and had a lot of cracked solder due to the massive 15" vibrator it's attached to. Highly recommend a Mike B. service at that age.

I'm also super happy with the loop mod in mine, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. It did dirty up the cleans, but it put the gain somewhere between my C+ & my C++ with a lot more bottom end & clarity. In the band mix it dominates any other Mark I've had.

I just sold my last C++ yesterday. I'm that happy with the IIB LM Coli.

I had to change an AT7 tube (#2) but that's all. No boost, straight in. Needs caps and the loop mod but seriously, it's great as is already. Great taper on the Master as you can see and I didn't even go past 2.

Now this is a Living room amp.
