Got this one today and man it's a good one.... really really great actually! Completely hand built from scratch by mark, all point to point, 2 footswitchable channels and footswitchable solo boost master with its own gain style switch for more or less gain, Mercury magnetics axiom mmo-100 output transformer, dagnall choke and power tranny (marshall style) It reminds of my ccv! the mid range voicing and fast attack is exactly the same and it has that great cameron rip and cut. Can't wait to use it @ rehearsal wed and on a gig sunday...It Has a kick ass tube buffered fx loop with on / off button bypass - which is always a huge thing for me with the camerons - gotta have a great loop for delays and fx and this one does thankfully...
Global Bass Boost with 2 way voicing switch on the back - one darker and thicker - one with more teeth and bite.. nice and thick!
Full dedicated clean channel which is VERY similar to my channel 1 on my ccv - way cool, from clean spank to rock n roll overdrive depending on where you have the contour switch on the master volume
Global Presence with 3 way bright switch (exactly like on my ccv)
switchable Mid boost on the lead channel which sounds really ripping and really helps make leads pop more, very cutting and slicing sounding, but not over done.
Selectable gain style switches like on the ccv over the master and solo boost master, to choose the amount of gain (clipping)
2 preamp gain controls with 3 way brite switch like the ccv , very cool when you turn them down low with the brite switch on , alot of cut and articulation. Great for fast riffing ...
all Footswitchable and i think it looks totally cool , nice and neat inside, quiet, no weird popping from channel switching or channel bleed either, AND not gooped .... Clips soon!!
This thing rules...oh and don't forget it has the killer f16 pilot light like the original ccv's had to!....
