Carol-Ann Triptik 100
and Simply put...It's the Tone in my Head.
Harmonics just jump out of this Amp....it's pretty Incredible!!!!!
This is what a Hot Rodded Amp should've sounded like.
Notes Just BLOOOOM and the note separation is Amazing.
Chords are Thick and Ring out, Bottom is Chunky with Punch!
Need more time with her but I'm Impressed with the
Tone and Over the Top Build Quality....THIS WILL BE
STAYING FOR QUITE SOME TIME!
Here's a Shot of my two current Stable Mates
and I LOVE them both.
Thanks to Paul/Louder for a SOLID DEAL

D-Moll and a Triptik. That's a pile of kickass right there.

Nice pair of amps right there, always wanted to try the Triptik.

What kind of music are you jammin'? Every time you post a NAD I am overcome with the urge to buy the amp you're talking about immediately.

Is the Custom Audio PT a goner?

Daaaayummm, man - you've been doing shit quietly in the background, haven't ya

Congratz,
Mo

I play anything from Classic Rock to
Heavy Rock and some Metal.
Not into the Drop C/B, 7-8 String, Muddy
Bullshit that can be played on a Bass!
Satriani, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sabbath
DIO, ZZ Top, Old Aerosmith/KISS/Van Halen
Slayer, Megadeth, Kings X, Alice in Chains, etc....
Some of the stuff I play with my Bud's.

The Amps just keep getting Better and Better.
I just keep finding the one's that are more and more
Fine Tuned to my ear, as I mature musically.
I love finding an amp that is better suited for me
than the one before it, it's exciting!!
Allen & Peter are pretty much at the Top of
their perspective Class, when it comes to manufacturing
a Top Grade Amplifier and I'm fortunate to be able
to own a product from each one.
If I can turn somebody on to what I'm hearing,
then it's a Good thing in my eyes.

(bwgintegra) Brett, I think you would Dig the
Shit out of the Triptik 100. We have similar tastes
in Amps and I think the Triptik would Blow you Away!

Happy NAD! Just recently picked up an used OD3 combo myself and I have to say this thing is massively impressive. My normal gig amp is a 20th anniversary Bogner XTC and I have a BE100 friedman, a Diezel VH4, Mesa MkV and Mini Rec and others but compared to all of them it has a bit of its own thing going on but sounds fantastic, certainly better than any combo amp I have ever heard, bar none. Huge, great eq, great master volume, just awesome amp all the way around. Tempted to turn it into a Triptik but want to keep it this way for a while first (one of few amp manufactures that has an upgrade path-ok its one guy Allen but still...cool thing to offer). Loves single coils and humbuckers equally. Incredibly heavy 1x12 combo with its EV speaker but for this tone its ok, I'll carry it. What cab are you running yours thru?

Congrats on the NAD

One amp I would love to try!!! Can't figure out why it doesn't have inputs for (2) 16 ohm cabs or (2) 8 ohm cabs?

Hi,

In answer to this, Most people only use them with one cab, a 1x12 with EV or a 2x12 with Celestions. A 2x12 with EV's or a single 4x12 at most. In 99% of stage situations there is absolutely no reason to go above a single 4x12 for any amp, except for looks.

Where someone does want to use more, I can build a serial/parallel breakout box that gives you many combinations.

Alan.

Hi Alan,

I was more curious than anything else.

Thanks for the response.
