THe people that told you that the SE would smoke the Herbert are the people in the Diezel forum :)

The Herbert is the absolute LEAST original head of the Diezel line, sure it is versatile etc.... but it's not one of those heads that you can pick out from a blind test.

And yes, this is coming from someone who has owned multiple Diezels, regardless, HNAD and if you are happy then I'm happy, but don't go offing the SE just yet, my bet would be the Herbert will be in the spam section after awhile, because there are plenty other heads out there that will do what the Herbert does for much cheaper.

Side note: The Herbert records like ass....
 
I liked them both. HNAD Tone Monster!

This makes me feel better about my SE purchase this week. Since I have a Herbert as well this is going to be epic metal. hehehe :rock:
