True dat.....

THAT clip has a nice amount of BITE! The treble level seems spot ON.

I'll have to listen on better speakers tomorrow but I like the clean tones a lot after the first time around. Your playing sounded very Mike Einziger inspired on that channel.

Sounds amazing, but I actually liked the cleanish sounds on channel 1 better than the distortion on channel 2. Not that channel 2 isn't great, just that tone you had in the first part of the video was fantastic.

Every one of the twenty amps you've bought and sold over the last year is "the greatest amp ever" according to you. You have zero credibility anymore and you couldn't dial in an amp to save your life. They all sound like fizzy over gained, down tuned garbage. You make every amp you play sound worse than a solid state Marshall mg. Give it up already. You have zero ear for tone.

I created an account on RT just to make this comment - you're a shit human being at the moment. The demo was fantastic by any standards, and obviously done for the benefit of the viewers. How about you learn some manners; some respect, and be a contributor to society.

Farrk. That sounds sick. Thanks Reza. For me personally this is the best clip you've posted that plexi Chanel and the rhythm mmmm nom nom nom. Pity they cost so much. Would have to sell my vh4 and save some coin to afford one. Maybe one day

Welcome  Some people just have no class.

hmm if I had to judge based on simple audio/video files that I've seen floating around on youtube etc. This amps sounds too 90S thrashy (metallica & justice for all kinda tone?) to me. It sounds ok when you're playing bigger open chords, but anything else sounds just too shrill. Single notes are painful to hear. But I have to admit I like the grain on this one. It's the one thing that helps you cut through in the band mix and I could see it being used in a 2 guitars band where the other guy has a complementary tone to fill in the rest.

I guess I'm more of a smooth/gnarly/3D kind of tone guy.. I definitely like the darker character of a JJ a lot more compared to this one. Thanks reza for the time trying to do your best to capture what the amp sounds like. As we all know, each one of us is trying to get his tone on every single amp, so it does make a perfect sense if some of the audio snaps sound similar.

That is way over the top dude. The guy is a gear enthusiast like the rest of us and obviously has the resources to obtain good quality gear.

Sounds to me like your jealous eh? The amp demos he does all sound very good and you went out of your way to be a total dick and make obscene comments for what reason, I have no idea other than your a jealous immature child.

BTW, that amp sounds nice indeed

That sounds really good imo. How is the low end in the room? I agree that the high end and mids are really nice it's just sometimes difficult to get a feel for the low end (even though I listen on my home stereo). For example, the low end in the 2C+ clip seemed more full.

I think his demos are quite valuable. He showcases a lot of great amps that arent readily available to try out. And he uses the same recording techniques on each video, so you can hear the differences of each amp.

I just wish he could do a proper demo of my Peters amp...then I know it would probably sell a lot quicker haha.

I agree. He has one of the best demos of an SLO, really does it justice. Unlike some others that seem to make it sound like a Peavey. No offense to Peavey owners, but they aren't in the same ballpark. How else are you gonna get an idea of these 3K and up tone examples if it wasn't for Rezas demos? Very valuable clips for all of us imo.

And it's not like these clips just happen. It takes quite a bit of effort and time to do them this well. I know I'd tap out after about 45 seconds of demo-ing...Reza does full 5-10-15 minute demos. And multiple demos.

But there's always THAT GUY. What guy? THAT GUY. Don't be THAT GUY.

This exactly. Reza makes a great demo, is extremely helpful to anyone who asks and guys shit on him. Poor form. If you have such a big problem with his demos, I'm sure we would all love to see your handiwork.......

That sounded badass. Waaay better than the one from Friedman. I bet that amp records really well.
Ya, hands down a way more "in yer face" sound than what Bill was managing to mic up for the "official" trailer of the amp. No bad on anyone's part, but goddamn, if yer gonna release an amp, mic the fucker to sound like the amp you're selling man

Still not my cup of tea, but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better sounding in this clip than in the "previous" clip, ahem.

Nicely done - as always - my Braddah, nicely done  :rawk:
