NAD - Ground Zero - JCM 800

I did a trade for this mean bastard. A friend here locally has 2 JMP’s modded by GZ. I was extremely impressed with both amps. So much that it put me on the path to find one.

My favorite voiced/modded Marshall’s have been Monomyth. I’ve had several of Shea’s workings and as we (most of us) know, there is something special going on there.

I took a leap of faith on this 800. My take is simple, Mesa meets Marshall. So many different tonal options.

Plugged straight in it’s there. Start turning, pulling knobs and f$&k it’s really there. There are several updates/options that can added to this amp. But the way it sits now, I don’t think it’s needed.

For the most part, when i see a marshall get modded, i think it is kind of a step backwards. A lot of them are making it sound boosted or play at whisper volumes.

But what Jeremy is doing is actually adding range rather than narrowing, and it can still be musical while being fucking tight as you need. I am kind of a fan

To some it definitely could. Both amps in the same tier
