I decided to get rid of my Mark III. Was just going to sell it but then I was offered a Trem-O-Verb! I couldn't pass it up, since I've missed my Recto since getting rid of it way back. Nice little birthday gift to myself!

Yea, I just wasn't getting along with the Mark III like I wanted to. I had actually sold that Mark III about a year or two ago for the same reason then bought that same one again when I got the itch for the Mark tone again...now I realize I just don't gel with it as much as I'd like. I used to have a Triple Recto and sold it to get the Sig:X (which is still my number one, I'd say), but I've been missing that Recto sound. Reading your threads about your FJA mod made me want another Rectifier, too! So when I was offered the trade I jumped all over it. I'll miss the Mark most likely, but this amp fits me better. The Mark sure looked sweet though...thanks for the compliments!

I'm just messin'... I've owned 3 VHTs before and don't like them
I've also owned 3 different Recto models and even though it's not my sound (the love it/hate it Rectifier thing), I appreciate the amp's qualities, and it always seems to record pretty good

If a Recto, or even VHT, was the only amp I could own for the rest of my life, I'd still be happy

I don't notice too much, but I haven't messed with this one too much yet. Just plugged it in and twisted a few knobs but it sounds like a Rec to me. I had a Triple before and was using it through an older Boogie cab with C90s so it was a little bit different of a setup, but like I said, it sounds like how I want a Rectifier to sound! I'd have to get them side by side to really be able to compare more than that.

That'd be cool! I'm down in Macomb at the moment, but I'll be back up in Flint for school in early July. I got all these, plus a Peavey VTM I modded and a couple amps I built. Could be a fun time for sure!

Jake, congrats on the Rec. I snagged Corpse's FJA Single a couple months ago and it killed my amp GAS dead....nothing on the radar anymore. Happy as can be with it. Welcome back to Rectoland and HNAD!

Thanks Scott! You and Dan's modded Rectos made me really consider a modded one, but I figured I'd get an unmodded one and see what happens because I know I like them. I didn't even really have GAS for anything (even this), I just got the offer and went with it. Enjoy your Rec!
