Yeah my punch is on the front. Definitely sounds like a focused depth knob.

I turn mine all the way up and it might punch harder than my wizard tbh

I like the high end and mids of my gower better honestly. Sounds more marshally. The hermansson though sounds unique… pretty nuts. Like @Yehuda was saying the punch knob can get like a wizard if not more. Like almost too ridiculous to record. You wouldn’t ever use that in a band mix or recording. But by yourself in a room it sounds real cool.

My Gower was a reissue Marshall so not the best comparison, but I found it to be a more modern take on the Marshall sound- I have this video but it’s not great- I was learning how to record back then

Yeah the 5gs I have has insane punch that I definitely think is partially due to the donor amp
