Might as well start a thread...lol. I've been after one of these Marshall Hendrix Sig JH100 Super Amps for a while and finally found one in my price range. Let me tell you...this thing sounds glorious. I've had several PTP Plexi's over the years and none of them hold a candle to this amp. I'm not sure if it's the KT66's or the circuit itself but the it's got that Hendrix tone is spades...and it takes pedals better. I picked up a Digitech Hardwire Valve Distortion and it sounds f'n sweet through this amp. I've only spent a few hours with it, but this setup gives my Cameron a run for it's money  . Now to find the bottom cab...

I'll make some crummy iPhone vids in the next few days. Here's a group pic in the meantime.

Awesome!! I'm a fan of KT66 loaded Marshalls myself ;) Actually the guy that designed the Vintage Modern also designed that amp. His name is Steve Dawson and can be found at the Marshall Vintage Modern forum a lot of the time. There is a section JH100. You may find this of interest especially if you have questions about your new amp.

get one of these guys, and throw in one of those KR Musical The Fuzz's while you're at it. I'd love to hear that thing roar. You may want to try the London Fuzz that I have for sale, it rips.

Was busy with family stuff for my B-day this weekend. Hopefully one day this week...

Very cool. I'll have to check out one of those pedals.

I can't even be in the same room as my '73 PTP Superlead and I refuse to use an attenuator so I am a bit of an impasse with my self!

I used to have one of those. Awesome amp, I agree, tone to die for! Sold it to fund something else at the time. fwiw, I had the cabs too, but at the time I also had the cab you have it sitting on and I think you are just as well off not buying the matching cab. It was ok but the 1960HW's are just as good if not a better match. Congrats.
