Decided to take the leap !!
Actually I was looking for a small practice modelling amp that I could just sit in the living room, watch TV and noodle at low volumes. At $199 new (plus I had a $100 gift card), plus all the great reviews, this seemed like a no-brainer for that, plus more. $116 out the door...cheaper than any of my pedals.

Just spent a good 30 minutes playing. It does sound great and is really fun to play. I don't think I'll be selling off my KSR or Herbert, etc... any time soon, but this does sound great. The Brown channel with a little boost, add a touch of delay/reverb and it is a perfect practice, noodling machine for me.

Sitting pretty next to the Bogner cab/PowerStation2

Congrats dude! That's a damn steal! Great amps for 3-4 times the cost. Love my Katana head and I'm not selling the KSRs either!

Nice score! They are perfect practice machines

Congrats! Have a Katana-50 myself and love the little thing. It's great!

Sweet NAD.. its a fun machine. Getting Herbert ir Friedman tones or KSR as mentioned.. i cant. I can get a good sound at any volune and it cuts like the sword name it bares. Ive got a decisiin to make. To gig with it/not to.

Had my first night with it. Sat in my recliner, watched a couple movies, had volume low and just played. 4 hours later, I could finally play Mary Had a Little Lamb most of the way through.

Plug it into a 4x12. Sounds much better.
I'm sure it would, most things will :) but it serves it's purpose for what I'm using for just perfect, really happy with it.

Thanks. no doubt it's a great deal. It is amazing how good gear is these days.

Modeling is coming forward underneath Kemper and Fractal by leaps and bounds....Congrats on a cool little amp!

They are a great inexpensive tool. Try the computer tweaking and the sneaky amps!

My buddy who is just starting out got a Katana 50 as his first amp. Can't wait to play through it.
