I'm curious as to how you'd compare the C+ to the Mark IV, especially since you seemed to have really liked the IV.

I've still got my IV/open back/Thiele mini stack and I'm still very happy with it...but I think I just have to take the C+ plunge some day.

I love(ed) my IV. I lamented selling it after a couple of weeks with the V. The IV lead channel just wasn't there in the V's version. I was going to get another IV until I saw the IIC+ come around. Had to give it a shot. Glad I did. It has some of the smoothness qualities of the IV but adds some raw aggressiveness to the mix. There is a throaty quality that sounds really cool.

playing is excellent as usual and i like the tone better than the mkv you had.

Thanks man!

Hi, I see you are a Kemper Owner now, like me. Did you have chance to profile your IIC+ ??

He didn't. He has had a couple of amps in between the IIc+ and the Kemper, the last being a Mark IV. I believe he sold the Mark IV to finance the Kemper, so he wouldn't have had them at the same time, or being able to profile it.

As you will glean from my posts, I'm pretty much the most anti-Boogie guy around, but dang that sounds good. My top two Boogies that I've heard in my life are my singer's IIC++, MightyWarlock's Pre-500 Recto, and now this will occupy the #3 slot. If y'all aren't careful you're gonna have me out there looking for a IIC+ or a IIC++

Holy necro bump batman!

That's what I thought.

This was a great amp and my favorite Mark in retrospect. I used it on the James Lugo Rig-Talk Jam compilation we did a few years ago.
