I picked this up a few days ago, traded my Fillmore 25 combo for it. I liked that amp just fine, but it was one of my least played. A very nice local player reached out & offered me this as a trade deal, which went very smoothly.

This is possibly the loudest 25 watts I've ever heard! Ch 2 modern in particular is pretty ridiculous for home use. Ch 2 vintage and both Ch 1 modes can be tamed for hone use pretty well. Clean tones are nice enough, very nice with a good delay in the loop to help it out a bit. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the 'pushed' mode on channel 1; very nice crunch sound that takes a boost pedal wonderfully.

Channel 2 sounds like a recto, doesn't do the full blown big iron low end like its larger counterparts. It's probably about as close as a 25 watter with el84's can get though, and it's really not lacking in the lower register at all. I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile this amp can be with different guitars. I find that it only does a handful of studs really well, but I tried a handful of single coil, humbucker & p-90 guitars and it really lets them all shine quite well.

I'm looking forward to using it for band rehearsals, I might even throw it on a 4x12 and play it live.

Here's a quick & dirty clip; first half is channel 1 pushed, second half is channel 2 vintage. Left track is using the od808 out front, right is straight in with the same eq settings. I used a tiny bit of the on-board spring reverb.
