Glad to hear you dig it man! Very cool. How do you feel it responds with single coils vs humbuckers?
It's sounding great with my Strat. If wanted, you can dial up the low end and increase the gain a little and make a single coil sound huge and heavy. But dialed back, it sounds more like a single coil, but with more sustain maybe. The compression from the amp.

First gig! I’ll report back.

So…. Last night was one of the best tone nights I’ve ever had. This amp freaking ROCKS!

My main band plays classic rock, newer’ish rock, and country. This amp covered those tones very well. Again, I’m really impressed with Channel 2. It can be very Marshally, but of course with more tweakability.

This is a venue that’s setup for live music and I was able to crank it up more than other places.

I didn’t even use channel 4.

I couldn’t be happier! Here are my settings…

Notice how the EQ on channel 2 is straight up!

diezels cut like a knife in a mix. it’s great when you find an amp that just does the thing without having to struggle to hear nuances.

I remember, when I was thinking about getting my first Diezel, there were so many people who said the exact opposite, that Diezels can't cut at all. At the time, I thought they just weren't dialing them in right... until I got mine. As evidenced by the pictures above, dialing them in is really a non-issue, too.

@SgtThump - F*ckin' awesome!! Those nights, when it just seems to come together, are incredible!

Hey Thump! What speakers are you running in that cab? Vintage 30's or your Greenbacks?

I think you play better when your amp is giving you what you want to hear/feel then you are not fighting the amp!

Congrats SGTThump! Sometimes you just find and amp that fits!:rawk::2thumbsup:

The newer ones are SO much different than the older ones. In a good way! They cut and bite if you want.
I prefer the newer VH4's for this reason. I always found the old ones to be too dark and with that massive low end, I could never dial them how I liked. Channel 2 on the newer ones is also better.

Hey man! I’m running the old Marshall “Vintage” speakers in this cab.

Gotta admit that my playing was pretty darn good last night, because of the killer tone!

Fucking rad dude! I'm still in the afterglow of my 5150, so very much get how you feel about your new baby... but It's even better when it cost a pretty penny and is worth every cent. Very stoked it's coming through for you. Nothing like the relief of firing it up with the band and it just fucking hits like you want it to.

You are so right about it being a relief that it rocked! That is definitely not always the case. I’ve sold amps after their first gig more than once. Lol

Glad it worked for you Chris ...nothing like a new amp that checks all the boxes!

Any vid footage of the beast in action?
I'm a creeper anymore here lately 😆
I think there may be some video, but I don’t have it yet.

I still need to catch your killer band!

Cool hope to catch it when you get some footage..
Thanks for the kind words about the band .. im just playing with some young guys who love older hard rock covers so I dig it!.
I need to get out and see you aswell!

ALL of that sounds awesome! There aren't many amps that can pull off all of those sounds, definitely one of the few.

Great sounding band, too!
