Okay, so I got this yesterday from ClintN667. Pretty killer amp for sure. Really easy to dial in a tone I totally dig. Lot's of gain on this thing if I need it. I usually don't and running it between 10 O'clock to Noon is plenty for me even with my low output hum buckers. If you're not familiar with this particular amp, it's built on a Ceriatone 2204 build with Classic Tone transformers and a Metro loop. It' has a "Blood" toggle as well as a "Black Sun" toggle and adjustment pot both on the back. Pushing in the gain knob engages a bright cap. Sounds killer in the room and the volume taper doesn't have any sudden surprises like some amps. Here is a quickie video. I only played with the gain knob and the volume knob on my guitar. Used a TC Alter Ego in the loop. For some reason my DOD Rubberneck just doesn't work right with the Metro loop. I'll look into that more though. I used my First Act with a GM 59'r pickup straight into the amp. SM57 on a Sheffield 1200 speaker loaded in a Emperor 4x12. Mic goes into an iRig Pre HD and straight into my iPhone. Zero eq or processing as usual.




I'll do another video later today and play with some of the tone knobs.

 
Sounds good. I was hot to trot for one of these but then I stumbled onto another MCII and it squashed all gas.
 
Sounds great. How about doing something in the low input?

Congrats man. They are great sounding/feeling mods; easily in the same category as the Camerons I've owned. Different but that good. Which means they are better than any other modded Marshall I've owned or tried. He charges a very reasonable rate and turns out a world class modded Marshall.
Can't say enough about Shea and his work!

That’s the cool thing, they sound tight but they feel like they have sag.

I freaking love Shae's work. This amp was basically my wish list for the perfect hot rodded marshall and it turned out great as expected. Im glad the amp went to a good home. I hope I can get another one once the world quits kicking me in the nuts.

Great to hear it, you deserve it! Are you accepting donor amps these days, or just selling pre-modded amps? How long is the wait time now? Any new mods?
