Brand new VH4s Inbound on the FedEx truck today from Peter and Terry. Looking forward to cranking it up tonight! I will post pictures in this thread as soon as I see the box later this afternoon.

I was really happy with how that amp played....

You are going to have a sore face from smiling ear to ear on this one.

Still at my real job ;) Will do so when I get home.

Ok, I have had two solid hours with the VH4s and it sounds Massive. Not as saturated as my Herbert but just thick and tight as Oprahs jeans   . It is just like having two VH4 amps in Stereo with extras of everything.

Going to hook up the Nova system tomorrow and run the stereo effects. I love the through input as well it lets you mix different heads in with the VH4s.

Running channel 3 of the Diezel with the Bogner Uberschall is a joke it is so heavy sounding!!

I can nail the James Hetfield tone with the JC-120 head and the Diezel

So far so good...

Here is a bunch of pics I snapped for you guys from arrival to set up just for fun.

Congrats! I just got a VH4 last week and I LOVE it too. It's definitely a keeper and more of what I was looking for vs. the Herbert. Today I got to crank it with a boost and it was  .

Cool! Can't wait to hear what you think! Cool jacket too.....

Oh, that is the shit! Hey, I notice a store button on the panel, and I see the footswitch has a ton of buttons, can you store and call up more channel presets than the settings your looking at? BTW, that is a very clean JC120 you have there

Based on your acquisitions over the last few months, im assuming that this "real job" is money tree harvester?

:D I am nothing special and I have been fortunate enough to have a good gig during these tough economic times which I am grateful for.

Music and guitar and the whole scene is something I been apart of since I was a small child so its nice to be able to support and enjoy the workmanship of guys like Bruce, Peter, Dave, Reinhold etc...

My father always liked to say that "no one gets out of here alive". I kind of live by "All or Nothing" mantra. I hope it doesn't come across the wrong way in these posts, I am just a fan of this stuff like we all are here on the forum

Not at all, you're probably the coolest thing thats happened to this site in a while, plus you got rid of Carl! What else could we ask for?!

Since you seem to have the Noah's Arc of amps, how do you like your Egnater stuff by comparison? I love mine to death but ive never really had the chance to directly A/B it with the competition.

Nice kitchen tiling Brad.....

Oh btw.....your music room ain't too shabby either!

Let us know how the VH4S behaves with effects etc...and compared to the Herbert!
What tubes did it come with? EL34 winged-C ?

enjoy! - Rune. :)

HEHE - now chain a Herbert in there & run the VH4 wet & Herbert dry. It doesn't get much better than that, the combination of cleans will blow you away.

nice brad! congrats!

I though you had a Vh4 already...

anyways, the Vh4 rules so hard it's crazy!

I do have a older white mono vh4 which is awesome too but the stereo version really kicks ass!
