Damn Brad, share me your secrets man. I think I'm working in the wrong industry.

Ok, a full day yesterday with the VH4s and it gets better as I tweak it.

Channel 1 = Very high headroom sparkling clean channel. Great spank but also warm, add a bit of chorus and delay and it is damn near perfect. Stays clean all the way up.

Channel 2 = Very underrated from what I have read. I was quickly able to dial in a Joe Perry ROCKS type tone and all the classic mid gain tones ala Led Zepplin. Very responsive and crunchy.

Channel 3 = This is why the amp is famous, very articulate with a ton of gain but not saturated to the point of mush, crushing bottom end while still having nice mids and bubbling harmonics. This is my main rhythm channel on this amp.

Channel 4 = Perfect lead sound for me, easy to make it a bit louder and and bit more presence to really stand out. Liquid Gain on tap but not muddy at all.

This head takes effects great being stereo. I threw a cheap TC G Major in the loop and it sounds killer. Played all of my Slave to the Grind tunes and it was killing. I have a original TC 2290 on the way to run in the loop for delays which should be outstanding.

I will post up clips as soon as I get everything together, now to figure out how to program the Columbus!

I'm going to guess that Brad's good for 4 with road cases.

I keep waiting for Ozzy to call, wtf is keeping him for hitting me up... ;)

Very cool! Thanks for sharing and nice review.

Still looking forward to your CCV review.

Hey Brad....just so you know> We love this kind of stuff. Your play-by-play gives us an idea of our dream products transitioning into the home.

I'd love to hear 1 good guitar and 1 good cabinet get hooked up to a bunch of those nice amps of your's to hear the tone & character each amp brings.

The VH4 is one of the few amps I've sold that I'd really like to revisit again, especially if it was the VH4S. Killer rig man!
