Thanks everyone for the congrats, etc.

I could make up some "Metal" story but really it was just a matter of timing and knowing the right people.

I will say these amps are pretty killer. It is alot of fun to go through the distinct variations from 60's throught the 80's all in one shot.

All these amps seem to be in great shape except for one modded mid 70's 4 holer. it has a MV mod that is kinda funky. it sounds pretty good but has been hacked cosmetically.... Other than that these things are Rocking.

My favorite so far are the 69 and 71 JMP. Both have a real warm and woody feel. They just ooze tone and are super dynamic, even with a Tube screamer engaged. Makes it possible to believe that EVH amps were not modded. Stock Plexi with a boost?? Never did I believe that although now.... maybe so... The Hendrix amp is oh so beautiful. The 69 Major Plexi is dead quiet at stupid volumes and has amazing, shimmering cleans to die for. Gotta make yer ears bleed to get the dirt out of her, but the cleans. OMFG!


The sleeper of the bunch is the Hiwatt Overdrive Lead 100. It sounds frigging huge and is very warm sounding. It surprised the hell out of me..
