Well not really. I have had it for a long while now and didn't do a new amp day because I thought you guys might be getting sick of the new Peters. After the inquiry of a RT member I decided to do one.
I am not going to dive to deep into how awesome the amp is considering I'm the resident Peters poster boy(yeah, I just said that out loud).
It's a 3 channel amp with the Chimera, Hydra, and Halo channels. These are all fire breathing dragons minus the Halo which is clean. This amp is about as metal as it gets IMO. The chimera is tight and razor sharp, I love this channel for my drop C and 7 string tunings. The Hydra is a touch looser and a bit more rounded. Still completely metal though. The halo is a fantastic clean that can approach AC/DC type dirt but still clean up to the most pristine clean with a shitload of headroom.
The biggest draw to Peters amps for myself is the articulation and clarity. It is unmatched by any other amp I have tried. I play in two original metal bands and dominate the live mix with James's creations. I get nothing but compliments on tone. It's almost not fair to my other guitarists.
As far as the 3 channel goes it's dead quiet when switching channels. The foot switch is easy to comprehend and fully functional.
Here is some amp pron. Keep in mind I'm a guitar player not a photographer.
In this pic you will notice the blue led with the orange shell. I'm a big time Denver Broncos fan so I will be playing this Vega/Gryphon (thanks Tony aka Sinnerx96!!!!!!) on game days/weekends. Lol.
Thanks for checking it out guys. Pm me with any questions about Peters amplification or ask away here. James Peters is a great guy and one of the premier amp builders in North America.
