I can even hear the tone coming from the empty Peter's headshell on top

Peter's is high if not at the top of an amp list I would want to try out in person. He offers enough preamp choices I could never decide over the phone. I would have to play them.

  Well, come on over and you can play the Chimera/Hydra/Vega/Gryphon/FSM/Halo. Try before you buy Colorado outlet store, only problem is nothing is for sale.

That would be awesome, now if only I would ever be in Colorado

Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got mine last week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here`s a pic of mine.

I`m in a hurry bit i need to contact you and talk about your amps. I might sell a couple of mine and get another triple. Was thinking Halo/Regulus/???

Congratulations! I was just about to post an overdue Peters Triple NAD thread, but I'll crash in on yours instead. :D

Hydra/FSM/Halo here. I love your choice in cosmetics! Mine has the same black faceplate and black anodized knobs as yours, with only some differences in the LED colors.

The amp is amazing! Very versatile, and I'm finding all kinds of new tones every day. James is fantastic to talk to as well. I can't say enough great things about him. If anyone is on the fence about a Peters I'd highly recommend contacting James. The amp is built amazingly well, sounds phenomenal, and he provides great support both before and after the sale. He's both a genius and a gentleman.

Thanks to those who posted videos. Gsxrbusa, that especially includes you. Yours sound phenomenal. Awesome playing too.

Congratulations again!

Right on! Thanks man. I love this 3 channel. I think you should still do a NAD. I would love to see some pics of yours. Thank you very much for the compliments about the videos. Kinda feel I could do better but happy someone dug them.

Totally agree that James is a very cool individual that knows tone and can make it work. If you have ever looked inside a Peters it is obvious he takes pride in his work. I have never seen or owned a cleaner built amp. The guy also puts up with me and have asked for some strange shit. Lol.

Congrats on your amp bro, and thanks again

Bad ass collection bro. I think it is great to find a builder with products and support that you believe in and get em all.....

Lol, thanks brother. James never disappoints whenever I get one built. I think he thinks I'm nuts but I'm cool with it.

Congrats on the amp.

Awesome setup guys. What amps would you compare each channel with (what amps sound the closest in relation to)?

Nice amp Chris what did you get again .Halo/vega/ chimera???

looks cool

ahh....I finally realized the source of your tone. The Enchanted Smurf!

Looks fantastic. I'm glad that James is still building amps. Haven't heard anything recently but really liked the voicing of clips I've heard in the past.

Thanks man. That's kind of tough question to answer but I will give it a shot.

The Chimera is a tight metal tone if I had to compare it to any amp it would be the VHT/Fryette Ultra lead. It's not as dry but has that tightness quality with the mid range to match. It can dominate a mix with ease. The chimera has much more saturation though. It's what the ultra lead should have been IMO.

The Hydra is more rounded in the mids. Just a smoother approach but very much metal. I'm not sure what to compare it to. I hear a couple amps in this channel. Hot rodded Marshall, a touch of Herbert with a hint of Soldano?  It's just a great amp and still my favorite channel design.

I have no clue what to compare the Halo channel to. It's clean, I don't play much clean.

All that money in gear but your gear room is unfinished?

  Maybe because I care more about amps than a finished basement. ;)

Thanks Bob! :) I hope he continues to stay busy. His amps keep me coming back for more.

I got the Halo/Vega/FSM

I love that Vega channel, reminds me of my UL`s orange channel with the boost engaged. Has a vintage juicy tone.
