Im using a Harley Benton 2x12 with V30s and sometimes swap it with my Mesa 2x12 Rectifier cab. Its a great amp

Hows the effects loop? I have read a lot of reviews were people are having excessive noise in the effects loop. Can you comment on that? How is it at low volumes?

Havent tried the fx loop yet. I jist tried it a couple of times, waiting for my pedal bord to arrive so I can route the effects. Will update this thread when I try it.

As for BTBAM fan, no I'm not. I only heard a few songs of them it just happen that Dustie Waring has a cool signature CU24 and I was lucky to get a good deal out of it and an Archon as well.

Huge BTBAM fan myself. I just got a custom strap made with the great misdirect arrows for my custom 24 floyd. Will have to get a good pic of it. Dying to try an Archon.

Thoughts on Dusties sig dimarzios? I've always figured they'd be a customized d-activator. Knowing Dustie, maybe a bit warmer?

Thats the only thing i dont like in this guitar, the his signature pickups. Im planning on changing them to a Dominion or BKP Aftermaths.


And the FX loop is working fine, plugged an EQ and it makes the amp 2x great

Wish there was more description/demo's of some of these custom/sig pickups. Kinda hard to know what you're getting into. Either way, you're a pickup swap away from a gear grand slam. Cheers man!

I dont know how to describe them, its not that bad but not the kind of sound Im looking for. I heard Dustie has just started using Seymour Duncan's.

Great amp-my review. Incredible clean channel. Gain channel has mesa like gain, with a hint of Marshall flavor. I liked 50 watt mode.

My buddy came over and played some drums tonite. Played the Archon. Really a great sounding amp. Takes a boost well.
Great rock and Metal tones. It was a fun jam.
