Well I own a mark IV so the answer is that you can get some really convincing tones out of it. The clean channel is amazing the distorted sounds good but I think it does nees an eq / boost pedalif you put a 10 band EQ in the loop and "V" it can you get it to sound like a mesa mark? this amp has me intrigued but it's hard to tell what it really sounds like through videos. Oh an ddoes the volume on this one really jump quick like it was known to do on the early ones?
I'm looking for a lower cost mark IV kind of sound and for some reason I keep coming back to this amp
I totally agree! Im gonna experiment with the Suhr soon!Sounds good all around but the cleans in the first vid really stand out. These amps are great for direct recording too. Try it with your Suhr RL and Ownhammer Heavy Hitters V1.
Agreed! Really mid heavy! The cleans are fantastic.
The "master" is sensitive. It gets loud very quickly. I attenuate the volume with a multi fx in the loop.
It doesn't sound like a Mark, it sounds like a Rectifier. I find it very mid heavy, at least for playing alone relatively quiet.
