Did you get the Brown eye mod with the high gain switch or is it just the Brown eye mod ?

I am going to buy a JMP just for this mod thanks to your thread on HRI. If you get a chance can you make some clips with and without the gain switch. Have you even received it back yet ? That would be pretty quick. I ran into Friedman at the LA Amp show, very cool guy. Well if and when you have it I would really like to here some clips. Please no pedals in front.

exactly...what Dave's currently doing to my amp is,with the volume pot "pushed-in",it'll be the Brown Eye mod.when the volume pot is "pulled-out",the newly-added 4th preamp tube "kicks in" and the gain should increase QUITE a bit!!!

The power drive Knob is a variable feedback knob for the power section. Changes the response of the power amp. Oh and the Brown Eye with extra gain is called the Hairy Brown Eye. Dave Friedman
