i'm not sure if this amp is underrated yet but it feels it's getting there, although i could be way off, oh well ce'st le vie

i got it for cheap because i don't care how my amps look, just my guitars and even that's debatable

so yeah worth the buck and sounds killer i feel

and will have to record something soonish with it

nah man, everyone hears different things...the only rule is if it sounds good to you then it is good.......I still want a diavlo 45 at some point (but no one sells them in the country I live so it is a pain getting one here)

Nah the one I had sounded fantastic, but it definitely didn't dial in like you would usually expect. No weird midrange either though it wasn't as saturated as I was expecting initially until I got it dialed in.

Glad to read that someone likes the Thrasher besides me. The amp gets alot of negative press on these type of boards but TBH it has grown on me after using it in my last band and live. I used to load it with alot of OD pedal and Axe FX but recently I have evolved to just tweak it with it's built in boost and gain as well as a POD HD in the loop and am happy with the tone. I like its clarity and attack it took me some time to find the sweet spot but I did.

I don't see how anyone would have an issue with the way that amp looks?? looks fine to me, IDK?? few scuffs, but it's nothing really.

Congrats on the amp. I love Randall's but i'm weird in that I generally prefer the solid state variety of Randall's. They have a very signature sound to them that no other amp has, and I love that sound. I got the rg3003h and it sounds killer! and works great in a band mix, and LOUD! 300 watts.

Found the same with the one I had . Returned it the next day. The 667 from the clips sounds cool so does olas amp but we all know how clips go.

Same here, only amp that was worse was the Ceriatone Chupacabra.

Has anyone tried the satan yet? To the OP and Fans of the thrasher I'm glad you guys think it sounds good nothing wrong with that . I have not herd the satan in person yet and what I felt after the thrasher I want to here it in person .

FWIW, the Cobra is awful if not dialed in right with channel volume maxed.
Anything less that 3 oclock is awful. Dial it right and gets into a Beefed up Marshally Mids

and back on topic, I'd love to try a Thrasher or Satan. I miss my Fortin modded vm.

The cobra slays people just don't know how to use it . People are entitled to there opinions thought. VM Fortin must have been cool.

Out of modded Marshall's Dan gowers mods seem the best to my ears.
