So to quell my thirst for a new piece of gear, I sought out the ultimate tone machine. It's more expensive than the Mesa Stilettos I was digging on because of Andy Timmons, but this will do for clean, edge of breakup, and 80s rock:
It's a 3rd Power Citizen Gain CSR 40 watter with the onboard reverb and a G12H Anniversary and Creamback in the cab. It should be a fun little amp to play with and jam on. If I don't like the speakers, I can always pull them for some Greenbacks, or Mojotone's version of the Greenback.
He has it at a consignment shop, but they're closed today, so he's going to run up there tomorrow and get it and bring it back to his house, and I'll go pick it up after work.
