Just took it for a test run. I'll miss the Herbert until I get another but I had forgotten how beautiful this amp sings! The rich harmonic lead tone is just awesome! It sounds great and I'm only running it through the Soldano cab now. It should really sound good when I get a god cab!!!! Happy once again!!

IMO they're just a little thin. I'm trying to get a 2nd cab like a Bogner but when you're looking no one's selling!!

Congrats and clips. Thats just like the one I had. Mine had the Depth mod and was great but at the time I could not get a handle on the volume of that beast so I had to move it. One of the finest lead tones out there. Clips!!

I played an SLO for the first time yesterday. It's a very nice amp. Plug in=instant rock tone.

I've owned a 50+ and compared it to a pal's SLO directly - the SLO has a little more magic but the 50+ was probably 80% there. If I found a cheap 50+ I'd be all over it.

God, this amp really comes alive at 5!!!! There is a HUGE difference between 4 & 5, its fucking kills my ears but it just sounds massive a big volume!
