NAD..............SUPER COMP! ADDED CLIPS!

Guys, amp is on the way to Jerry...

Scott Splawn is a gentleman, spoke to him on the phone... he gave Jerry a heads up that the transformers were good to go to swap the amp to a hundred watter....

that amp is an animal, best aldrich mod cameron ive ever heard/ owned / or played...

Nick did an AMAZING job with that one! I wish Nick lived closer, I'd have him do all my video. I can't wait to get this amp tweaked a bit for Nick.

Scott builds awesome amps and he's always been great to me. I've had a few here and they were rock solid and sounded great. I've got a local player that has a Quickrod for his 80's cover band that he's been using it for years with no issues what so ever. A yearly power tube change and he's good to go.

that is a song called break me down that i wrote when i was in high school! prob 99 or 2000 i wrote that,

I have 2 albums of material that i have been writing and recording the passed few years but it takes a long time to write, record and perform all the parts....and TIME that i don't always have.

I used to be in a "band" a few years back that got some heavy exposure and I wrote an entire album worth of material , then the band broke up , FOR THE BETTER. I find they took all the stuff i wrote and completed it without me , after the band had broken up. Sad part is i heard it through a mutual friend that they were intentionally keeping it from me.... REAL NICE! I am a guitar player originally but started drums when i graduated highschool... I won't even mention that bands name for the simple fact i wouldn't even want to give them additional google hit that they don't deserve!

The intro is super catchy; I find myself listening to the FJA clip regularly so it took me like 2 seconds to recognize it in your Super Comp clip. :thumbsup:

Things I disliked about the amp -

The Biggest thing of course is I'm converting it to 100 watts...

The bass was to prominent, and was to loose overall. Jerry plans on tightening up the bottom and making it more balanced and percussive for my style of playing.

Jerry is also going to change the voicing more to my liking, plus the addition of the uberschall power amp switch which is something that my Aldrich Plexi has that Mark Cameron hooked me up with...Sounds incredible... THANKS MARK!

He's also going to add the gain and saturation and sustain as i like ALOT of saturation...

few other tricks to... :D Maybe like changing the Voicing of the Mode/ od1/od2 switches....

again there really wasn't anything wrong the amp the way it was, but I'm very picky and own some bad ass amps that i'd like this to mimic and be closer to voicing wise...

Its going to be loaded with 4) winged C kt88's and ruby 12ax7ac5 preamp tubes.... NASTY!
 
cool! all safe? i threw the footswitch in there to so you can get to the different modes.... maybe we can do something with those to ?

Jerry, You need to do some more proper recordings of your work. This amp sounds fantastic. If I heard it with your regular You Tube videos i probably wouldn't have thought about it twice.
 
i just realized the headshell on my super comp looks like the freddy krueger car lol! :rock: :lol: :LOL: :thumbsup: :yes: ;) :D
