NAD triple in sunny Sydney

Today was one of those fun days where three amps arrived, so thought I'd share. A new Wizard MCii, and a used Bogner Ecstasy and Uber Twin Jet. We're in lockdown again so no one here but me at the workshop. This means no one to tell me to turn it down or criticise my sloppy riffs.

The Wizard loves the Orange cab - it's a 70's box with blackback G12M's, and runner up is a G12 65 loaded JCM800 cab. The XTC seems to pair best with pre-rola 75Hz G12H's greens and the Uber likes my Friedman BE412 with V30's and Heritage G12M's. What a great trio of amps for clean to mean.

 
Wow nice collection! That’s one hell of a new amp day! That Wizard will like the 65 cab too….mine loved it. Basically any cab that a Marshall goes with, the MCI I had did as well.
 
For F's sake. One of those would be an epic year for me! Three in one day?o_O

Yeah it's decadent but last financial year was a good one... and spending up meant the tax man saw a lot less of it.
 
100, but 50 would be more than enough for near anyone I imagine.
 
I lived in Sydney for 3 years: I miss it. I'm in contact with many friends there now who are mixed about the measures in place. Seeing more protests. I hope you all are managing through it ok. Looks like you have enough to keep you occupied. Congrats and enjoy!

Besides becoming very expensive I love Sydney, and living in Australia all round. No complaints about the COVID restrictions - I mean we're ranked around 120th in deaths per capita, only 36 deaths per million. The US and UK are around 50 times higher at 1800-2000, so I reckon our government has done pretty well. Damn, this was supposed to be an amp only thread!

I had a regular Uber a while back, and now the TJ. I prefer the latter I think, seems easier to dial in, and who needs a clean channel anyways. It is firmer than the VH4 - more attack, more grind and grit. The VH4 is awesome, but pretty smooth and thick. And that's why you need both.
