NAD - New Apartment Day! Finally got settled here in the mountains of beautiful Durango, CO after moving twice and got my studio setup. Sure is cool here, lots of elk and deer and all kinds of critters. Starting to feel a bit like Ted Nugent! Was gonna do the video with nothing but a loin cloth but then common sense kicked in   So here'sa video of a tune off the last PowerTribe CD. Used my Blankenship Masterplex which is in a 1 x 12 closed back combo with a WGS veteran 30 speaker. Used a Tubescreamer too, and my old faithful Mel McCullough Super Tele. Amp is at TV volume or below - I miss my big room where I could crank my plexi, but I'll find a space for that soon!

That sounded fantastic!

I have always been a fan of Blankenship amps. There's something magical about them. Every one I have heard sounded great.

Damn Man....your such a monster player. :worship:
Make it look so easy and the licks just roll out looking effortlessly.
For me my all time fave from you is the IRON MAN clip you did a while back.

Very cool tune for sure mang! :D

I always hear this Vinnie Moore type of thing going on with your playing and I love it cause Vinman rocks and so do you!

Yeah, Roy pays a lot of attention to the transformers and cap types - I think that really contributes to their feel and tone. I've got to play a lot of his amps and they all just have a great feel.

Sounds killer Darren! You move permanent?

thanks dude! yeah, we stay pretty mobile but I think we'll be here for a while. We don't have a bed or dressers for clothes, we just empty the boxes, fold up the ears and put them sideways to store our clothes and sleep on the floor

Sounds excellent, Darren. Personally, I think the loin cloth would have added a perfect touch to the vid.

Durango sounds like a great place to live!
