I have to say that I had no intention of buying an amp. This came across and for only $50.00!!!! There was humming. So I figured what the Hell. $50.00!!!! Why not.

Got it home and 1st thing was to check the bias (It came with Sovtech 5881's.) Got that in order and fired her back up and the hum was gone but there was this strange oscillating thing happening. One by one I swapped the preamp tubes and found the culprit. A JJ...Dropped in a Mesa 12ax7 and just like that...amp works perfect. Guys...I really have to make a clip of this amp. It is Unbelievably good. So many options. The Effects loop is great, takes pedals like a champ. Too many features to list. Anyway. I have a nice backup if needed.

On a side note...I think a lot of you know this guy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_-oy6dRJt8&feature=youtu.be

These are definitely underrated in sound. Pretty good units for their used prices, but they are known to shit the bed pretty easily. I bought mine busted and fixed it. My buddy bought his busted and fixed it. I've read a lot online about them being poorly built, overheating, etc, so I'd keep an eye on it. But they do sound pretty good while they work.

The AT-100 is definitely a great amp for the price. And for $50? I'd hit that. Channel 2 and 3 sounded the same to me. You definitely cannot be afraid of messing around with amps to own one :D
