oh nice.this is just on a v30. I have a cream back cab I should try it with tomorrow :)
Yeah I love V30's but I wasn't crazy about 4 V30's with the Wizard

Sounds killer!
One cannot appreciate the pant flapping punch and massive sound these amps have with clips but it is great that you share them.
I figured you would dig the MTL over the MCII. It fits your style more. It can still cop MCII tones as well but is much more versatile in the range of tones it can do. Everything from clean to country to extreme metal and all with no compromise.
Pinch harmonics just jump out of these heads. The lead scoop adds another dimension and even more clarity. Great amps! Mine sits next to an Mzero now and if I had to choose one it would be the MTL with no thought. The Wizards sound tight and are tighter but still have a great feel under the fingers and are not stiff. Hard to explain. I had my MCII next to a Helios and the Helios was much stiffer compared. It stood out immediately. I liked the Helios but the Wizard was much bigger.
I found a V-30 mix X pattern with Heritage H30 55 hz cones to sound best with the MTL. I tried quite a few other speakers and several V-30 mixes and all V-30's. Interesting how the MCII liked a Heritage H30 55 and 75 mix 55's on the bottom.

Me want one.....
That amp is amazing
I applaud your obviously clinical gas addiction, I can always tell my wife, "see?? Reza, Reza, Reza"
Killer score Reza, I would probably end my hunt right there

I do the same thing. I know I can always count on you guys to make my collection look small.

Regarding the Wizard, it sounds really really awesome. Seems like it would cut through a mix perfectly and is just very full. Kind of like how every guitar amp should sound. With that said I just don't think it would be for me. Hard to say without actually playing one but the voicing doesn't seem like it would be something that would fit what I do.

Seems like you're very happy with it though Reza so congrats, again lol.

Bastard.

It's been a long time since I've heard them but it seemed to have a Helmet type of vibe going on in the clip.

I loaded Scumback H55s and H75 (large dust cap) in an x-pattern my new Wizard cab. My MTL is on the way to me now, should have early next week. That speaker combo worked well in my Mills cab. In the Wizard cab, it seems like a lot more low-end - particularly with my VH4 and KT88 QR. I figure I'll see how it works with the MTL, but I'm worried about too much low end with the MTL. I was thinking maybe all H75s or maybe put some M75s in there to blend with the H75s. I have a Splawn cab with v30/Creamback H75s that I'll try it through as well.

Sounds great Reza. I waited for this amp a long time and gave up. I'm glad it went to a good home. I'm content with my Splawn/SLO rig. You make that sound fantastic brother

mhenson42, You are in for a BIG treat! Don't worry about too much low-end with the MTL,
With depth control, you have total control over it and the amplifier is such a special machine that you can dial in lots of low-end and it still stays very huge and at the same time, surprisingly, extremely tight and focused… The MTL is the only amplifier I have ever, ever experienced that gives a extraordinarily huge tone while also retaining focus and clarity… I have had many, many top, top-end boutique amplifiers which I will not name, none have ever done this as well as the MTL! This is one extremely special amplifier and there is no other way to explain it then sitting in front of it while you are playing, it fills the room like no other amplifier, Rick St Pierre has done something very special, I don't understand how he's done it but he has, I wish everyone here could spend an hour with one of these, Plug into any amplifier, then plug into the MTL... Whatever you were plugged into before, immediately sounds and feels small. The Wizard MTL is (Imho) the best guitar amplifier, period.

That sounds fucking awesome man! If you can, I'd like to hear your thoughts on how a seven string sounds through it. Just wondering if it stays together with the low B.

WANT ! congrats !! I would love a current version 50W MTL or MC2, I had a 100W MC2 and it was too loud for gigs, but sounded glorious !

How else would you compare the MTL to the Mzero? Do you have the Mzero Overdrive or the Standard version? I've been curious about Mezzabarba but haven't had a chance to try one yet. I've hear they're also quite tight and aggressive.

I'll pm you soon. I don't want to derail OP's new amp thread. My post was too harsh on teh Mzero. It really is an outstanding amp as well. It has it's pluses and is very versatile.

Figures I just sold off 2-h30's before Wizard purchase

Love it. Those mod Marshall tones are awesome. I don't know much about them though, what circuit are they based on?
