Actually x2 but I do not have the second yet.
I sold my BE-100 because I simply cannot carry it due to my back. And I still gig 2-3x per month. I have a Kemper and it is unreal and will be my main live rig but I missed seeing a traditional amp behind me. I saw a blurb here about Mahaffay amps and I ended up buying his AW99 head. It has foot switchable gain settings and 3 separate effects loops and power amp outputs. Each output is 33 watts, there are two tubes in it. If you run wet/dry or w/d/w, this amp is the answer. I had the headshell done up like a traditional Plexi, I think his standard colors are black and white.
Tris sold it to me based on it sounding like a modded plexi/JCM800. I told him about me being a Friedman fanboy and if it wasn't in that range I would send it back.
Well, it is a keeper! I do not know what he does as far as a circuit but it really sounds great! The best part is it weighs right around 20 pounds, within my limit!
I will get clips up and more pictures in 2 weeks, I am wrapping up my MBA March 3rd, and after I burn all of the stupid books I have, I'll have some time for clips.
Oh yeah, amp #2, I bought a 1974 100 watt Marshall and Dave is modding it for me.
It won't leave the house but I couldn't live without one.
