Naked

So I'm pretty familiar with all of Dave's amps except for the naked. I've listened to clips and have read a few threads but still have questions. Is the naked higher gain than the hairy brown eye? Or do they have similar gain just a different feel and voicing? I understand the naked is more of an aggressive thick more modern voiced amp than the brown eye as well, correct? Sorry just want to make sure I've got the right idea on this amp before I jump on one.

You're essentially right.
The Naked is darker smoother than the BE.
Big tight bottom end that excells with drop tunings, as is described.
I have an APC modded JMP which is basically the Naked.
The Naked will have more gain than a BE channel.
Fantastic amp

Not as much of bedroom amp as the BE.

So how loud do you have to turn the naked up to get to the sweet spot? For example my BE modded marshall only needs to be above 2 on the volume to start sounding really nice.
