Maybe offer a up video of one of them where they were doing something you really dug so I can listen and discuss with. I think that would be cool. Blessings!

For me:

1. Albert King
2. Freddie King
3. BB King
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. Lucky Peterson

Freddie is my all time favorite but I'm sharing a Lucky Peterson vid cause I grew up in the 90's and those smoothh flowing blues chops were what was on the festival circuit at the time so I always been reaching for that in my own playing. Plus I got to meet and jam with Lucky at Mahuffer's the Wurst Place on the beach one night. Dude builds a slow smolder into a bonfire by the end of this one. A master's touch:

I'd like to think my style (if I even have one, as I can't really judge that for myself) is an amalgamation of my main influences from these genres:

- rock - Jimmy Page
- classic/old school metal - Randy Rhoads
- thrash - Jaymz
- punk/alternative - Bob Mould
- death metal - Pat O'Brien

5) Johnny Marr / Robert Smith

early on it was Lennon, Hendrix, Page and Iommi.
Surprised/not surprised no Ace eh? You like Paul's rhythm work more than Ace's leads I would guess.

The guitarist who had the most impact on my playing were:

Jerry Cantrell
Gary Moore
Zakk Wylde
George Lynch
Edward Van Halen
This makes me want to hear you play sometime. Really nice mix of guitarists there.

I dont know how many of them are in my current playing style, but the guitarists who over time have been the ones that made me want to pick up my guitar and learn their stuff were/are
James Hetfield
Mark Tremonti
Steve Morse
Joe Satriani
Aaron Marshall

I’d put Guthrie Govan on the list, but I can’t play almost any of his stuff for shit lmao

Derek Bailey

Henry Kaiser

Dang, with those influences I should be better.🤣

EDIT: and a shout for Django Reinhardt. His musical style doesn't make it's way into mine but the way he slides around definitely changed the way I play.
