It's just so hard for me to answer this because I don't really consider myself a guitar player. Steve Howe has inspired me a lot, as far as overall ideas. A lot of Steely Dan stuff all over. Eric Johnson, Wes Borland.
What do you consider yourself then ?

Jimi Hendrix
Nile Rodgers
EVH
Allan Holdsworth
Zakk Wylde

Five is not enough, I'll add :

Chuck Shuldiner
Andy LaRocque
Nuno Bettencourt
Greg Howe
Richie Kotzen
Yngwie Malmsteen
Billy Gibbons
Slash
George Harrison
Andy Summer
Roger Troutman
Too many to list etc.

Mike Stern
Roy Buchanan
Glenn Campbell
Link Wray
Gene Vincent

1. Slash
2. Brian Setzer
3. Jerry Cantrell
4. Bill/Brent - Mastodon
5. Josh Homme

I could mention the classics I started with but their playing is in these guys playing already...

Not really a guitarist but if I were.

Steve Howe
Randy
Jerry Cantrell
Kim Thayill
Eddie

4 of 5 are dead or defunct...lol

Chuck Schuldiner - Death
James Hetfield - Metallica
Eddie Van Halen - Van Halen
Muhammed Suiçmez - Necrophagist
Michael Keene - The Faceless

No Flea? You reminded me to add Frusciante anyways.
Actually both those guys influenced me greatly. Ironically Frusciante more than Flea. I actually hung out with John one night not too long after he bailed on the BSSM tour. He was really, REALLY fucked up. Not in a normal way either. In the kinda way that produces an album like “Niandra Lades and Usually Just A T-Shirt”. Which I think is a spectacular album. He happened to be banging a tattoo artist I knew.

Anyway, Hillel deserves to be on the list too. So does Larry Graham, McCartney, Mike Starr, Chi Cheng, Duff and countless others. But I’d be here all day typing out a list of essentially all the bass players I love. I guess I didn’t put Flea at the top because while he is amazing and definitely one of my favorite players, he really didn’t influence my style that much. I’m not a big slapper. And many of my favorite Flea bass lines are things like Green Heaven, Why Don’t You Love Me Like You Used To Do, True men Don’t Kill Coyotes and shit like that. No doubt BSSM was a seminal record for me and all that shit like Sir Psycho and Apache Rose Peacock just fucking kick ass, but I really get off on those first 4 records with Hillel.

1. Jerry Cantrell
2. Adam Jones
3. Woody Weatherman
4. Tony Iommi
5. Billy Duffy

I can't just leave it there. There are guys who had a tremendous influence on me that deserve a mention. Some of them are way beyond my skill level, but I would aspire to play like them if I thought it was reasonable.

Steve Jones
Brian Baker
John Christ
Vinnie Stigma
Pepper Keenan
Jim Martin
Dave Mustaine
Jeff Hanneman
Pete Townshend
Chuck Schuldiner
Marty Friedman
Andy Laroque
Paul Gilbert
Mark Morton
Adam Dutkiewicz
Marc Rizzo
Dirty B Hinds
