Its sad to see that he still has a cigarette is his hand all the time! He's starting to get the "Cookie Monster" sound to his voice, it makes me so sad to hear him talk.
 
I remember that and entered that contest :D

I wonder where that guitar is at these days?

A year or so after the 5150 was introed he showed up at the peavey booth and did a demo

it was not pretty

megaslop city and when a kid summoned the courage to request some eruption vh gave him the squinty "what???" face and sounded him for wanting him to play something over 20 years old
then claimed he has evolved to more intense things
and proceeded to plunk out some utter garbage with two handed multi fingered tap/slap zeal not unlike a fly discovering it is affixed to a spiderweb


but from 77-84 he was it
 
Eddie was history after NAMM 1987 when that guarded vail was dropped and the Jem was released while he watched Kramer execs run for cover while vomiting upon themselves :yes:
