Way to piss on my uber cool music room, last time I buy you dinner

Got BFD to work with Cubase today though

  The hardest thing for any engineer to do is walk into a room they've never worked in, with no point of a reference, and bring the goods. I wish I knew you'd post it so I could play better :gethim: ;)

The BFD part is a win! I didn't have the patience to try to troubleshoot it after getting 3 hours sleep the previous night. If you didn't catch it, my left eye was drooping toward slumber until after pizza time

I'm really surprised your kids picked chicken over pizza. Hell, I had pizza again today for dinner

Dude, the next morning I was listening and said screw this typed review shit because the clip sounds great so I posted it. One taked double tracked I felt the playing was just fine and this type of clip is what most people want to hear anyways, basic chunk and a sustained chord

I have to load BFD2 now and see how that goes, the GUI is way better and new kits.

The little guy was being rewarded for a great week at school, so he chose what he wanted :D

Sounds great, I can tell the grind was cranked!

It was at 1:00, presence at 2:00. Mids at 11:00

The new Iron brought out more grind that is for sure!

Can't wait to have you try this one bro, the neighbors are going to shoot us

Ah, I see. I run the presence between 11 and 1 o'clock depending on the room we are playing. So much tone in that one control. I run the grind at 3 o'clock, and it is crunchy and articulate as all fuck. The Natas I demoed was even more sensitive than the EP on those controls, can't wait to hear the new one. Putting my order in for my own custom Natas very soon.

Very cool, I hope Mike can deliver on what you want from your Natas

You still have more tweaking time than I do, I have lots to learn regarding how the two interact with each other plus you have way more live experience and will know what works. The controls are really linear, changes for the full sweep.

I did not screw up waiting for this amp.

Sounds cool. Congrats on the new amp.

this was recorded while listening on KRK mini monitors in an untreated room with a $200 dollar audio interface and with a SM57. Anyone who tells you you need thousands of dollars of gear to create professional sounding guitar tones is crazy. It's about the player and the engineer, and all the expensive mic preamps and converters are what take you that final 10% of the way.

Spread the word!!! I've been saying this for a long time.

Hey Scott, that sounded very very good. You must be pleased!

Thanks Phil, yes I am pleased with the amp

More pleased that I learned some cubase chops though so I can make good sounding clips and get into jams
