Naylor Special Design 50

I hope someone can compare this to any of the celestion speakers.

I just got my Naylor SC38 & this thing rocks even next to my Bogners & Diezels. I like it with v30s, but I have one spot open in my other 2x12, so I might try one of SD50 speakers.

Any input is appreciated.
 
It's closer to an older Jensen speaker. The version they were going after escapes me at the moment. There should be some articles online about the Special Design 50 that will tell you what they were going after.

Aside from all of that, it's a bit different from your typical V30. It's not as dirty sounding at lower volume. It has a clearer tone, but will break up a bit sooner because it's only a 50 watt speaker. You would have to push the volume fairly hard to get it to break up. It's a good all-around speaker the compliments the Naylor amplifiers, which were designed to be used with semi-open back cabinets.

The V30's sound real great with the Naylors if you're going for more of an aggressive vibe like a Hard Rock style. I used to run my Naylors through V30's a lot.
 
I have read they are essentially a jensen with a british cone.
 
Did a session today with SC38 with v30s. Jaw dropping performance!!!

I don't thing I need any other speakers with this baby.

This amp makes my head spin.
